FC Barcelona came back to winning ways in their Wednesday night game against Deportivo Lacoruna.

Luis Enrique’s men trashed their opponents in what was a total massacre as they netted a total of eight goals. Barcelona would be thankful to Luis Suarez as the Uruguan scored four goals in the night.

The striker as the Barca team has put to an end his less impressive run in a couple of games.

Suarez got off to a quick start, and calmed any Catalan nerves in the 11th minute. From a corner, the Barca No. 9 held off a defender and powerfully volleyed Ivan Rakitic’s cross past Deportivo goalkeeper Manu with his left foot from five yards out.

Luis Enrique’s men had suffered three straight losses for the first time in 13 years, but leaned on an insatiable Suarez to help stop a recent free-fall which saw the Blaugrana knocked out of the Champions League and lose a nine-point advantage in the league.

Deportivo almost immediately hit back minutes later but Celso Borges’ stretching toe poke of a lobbed Lucas Perez pass went straight at Barcelona goalkeeper Claudio Bravo.

The hosts worked themselves another golden opportunity from six yards away in the 19th minute, with Borges rounding a sprawling Bravo only to see a sliding defender make a point-blank save with the goal gaping.

Suarez then left Depor to lament their missed chances in the 25th minute as the Uruguayan raced onto a sublime Lionel Messi through pass and beating Manu at in the front of his goal.

The visitors notched their third of the night as Suarez turned provider this time, lobbing his right-footed cross for an oncoming Rakitic, who calmly lobbed past a helpless Manu.

Suarez added to his personal tally in the 53rd minute, collecting his hat trick with an outside-of-the-foot finish from another fine Messi set-up.

The former Liverpool man scored his fourth, his 30th in La Liga this season from close range on 64 minutes, steering in a Neymar squared pass after having his first attempt blocked.

Messi registered his name on the score sheet, scoring Barca’s sixth of the night as he slotted home from 12-yards out after Suarez rounded a defender and found the Argentine in the box.

Marc Bartra added a seventh in the 79th minute with an unmarked run from midfield before striking low into Manu’s far corner. Neymar also had placed his name on the score sheet two minutes later, left-footing a low Suarez cross into an open net.

The MSN have shown yet again that they are far from finishing.
