Meryl Streep Covers Vogue’s December Special Issue
Vogue magazine has revealed its December 2017 covers – two of them – with one of them dedicated to actress and icon Meryl Streep. The second, which reserved specifically for subscribers, is shared by music man Pharrell Williams and model Imaan Hammam.
The special issue is titled “Then & Now” and it scans through time to highlight the personalities, thinkers and artists, who have influenced and change the world in terms of culture, beauty, politics and of course, fashion.

The choice of Meryl Streep as cover star can be understood in the light of the fact that she is one of the major figures who have helped to shape culture in the last 125 years of Vogue’s existence. Her influence goes beyond her on-screen roles to make her a force for progress.
Streep, who is taking on the latest role of Katherine Graham, the woman who blew the lid on the Watergate scandal, is seen wearing a Michael Kors collection on the cover of the issue. The photo was shot by Annie Leibovitz.
Also, she sat down for an interview with Anna Wintour. She talked about her new role as Graham in Spielberg’s upcoming movie “The Post” and Harvey Weinstein among other things.
The Vogue “Now & Then” issues will reach newsstands by November 11. Watch the interview below:
