Earlier Microsoft announced plans to bring Edge Browser to iOS and Android devices. Before now the app was made available in preview and most recently Microsoft has unveiled a beta version of its Edge web browser last month for iOS and Android officially.

One interesting function of the Microsoft Edge Browser is that it has integrated its “continue on PC” functionality directly into Edge for iOS and Android, so you can ping a site over to your PC if it’s just not loading properly on mobile or you want to continue with a mouse and keyboard. Edge also includes access to favorites, history, reading list, and ebooks.

More functions include roaming Passwords which are now on-board, and giving users the ability to sync passwords cross platform on mobile and desktop. There’s also dark theme. Microsoft in its blog post “What makes Edge really stand out is the ability to continue on your PC, which enables you to immediately open the page you’re looking at right on your PC-or save it to work on later…”. The Continue on PC feature on Edge lets users pick up their work from where they left off, no matter where they are or what they are doing. It basically allows users to seamlessly move content between mobile device and PC. To get this feature you require Windows 10 Fall Creator’s Update. The Data Sync feature will let you sync your files across devices, while the Hub View will let you save all your files in one place, basically allow you to find and manage your content in a much simpler manner.

Other features like Reading View will let you reorganize content on a webpage, basically makes reading process simpler, while the QR Code Reader will allow you to easily read QR codes at the touch of a button. Edge also comes with the Voice Search feature with which you can use your voice to search the web. Lastly the InPrivate, works much like incognito mode — it doesn’t save your browsing data.

Presently the Microsoft Edge for iOS is available in the United States, China, France and the UK. While for Android it is available in the United States, Australia, Canada, China, France, UK, and also in India. Microsoft is also planning to bring the MS Edge for iOS and Android to additional markets in the forth coming days.
