A whole lot have happened in sporting events across the world in the just concluded week and Naijapr takes a look at some of the remarkable pictures of events, particularly in the world of football.

This maiden edition of the Naijapr soccer  picture of the week has been taken from the recently concluded week 34 in the English Premier League.

You just must find out why this is coming from the English Premier League.

It would be recalled that a number of dramatic performances did happen in the EPL in week 34.

Ranging from the home defeat of Norwich City by Sunderland to the last night heavy massacre of Stoke City by visiting Tottenham, very striking pictures will ever linger in the memory of football fans.

However, after very careful picture analysis of events around the footballing world, the picture that has been most striking in the EPL is that  from the tensed 2-2 draw between Leicester City and West Ham.

Even from this single match, a number of pictures could be easily picked as being memorable. Is it Andy Carroll’s unnecessary comment after a late penalty was awarded to Leicester?

Perhaps, you might want to mention the amazing comeback of West Ham into the game, edging the home team to 2 goals to 1.

Well, for us at Naijapr, the scene of fierce or rather, ”misconduct” of Vardy heading for match referee- Moss seems the most appealing.

For no reason would Claudio Ranieri be impressed by his star player’s conduct at having to watch to see his side reduced to ten men.

With Vardy’s one match ban after the incident, he might not win the PFA Award.

Again, his suspension might as well rid him of edging Tottenham’s Kane on the highest goal scorer prize.

It could also be said that his absence had cost Leicester a great deal in the game as his presence might have yielded some positive result.

If on further investigations, the FA finds more ground to nail Vardy, it might as well be the last time fans will have to see him play till the season ends and this may spell doom for the league leaders who really can not afford to slip at this critical moment that Tottenham is closing in on them.

We understand that our esteemed readers might have better striking pictures to go for, so we would be glad to send in your comments or even suggest to us which soccer picture you think deserved this more.

Here, at Naijapr, we care a lot about your views.
