-Cristiano Ronaldo has decided to leave Real Madrid next year.
-He has refused the club’s offer of a new contract.
According to reports, Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo has informed Florentino Perez, the Madrid president of his decision to leave the club next summer.
According to the report by Spanish TV show El Chiringuito de Jugones, the president is not willing for him to leave the club even though he has rejected the offer of a renewed contract.
It should be noted that he told beIN Sport earlier this month when he was asked if he was expecting to sign a new contract with Madrid that, “I don’t want to renew, I am very happy with the contract I have.”
It has been claimed that the reason for this is because the 32-year-old striker and father of four is not happy with the club because although they made a strong attempt to sign in Kylian Mbappe from Monaco this summer, they lost out eventually to Paris Saint Germaine.
He has therefore been said to be angered by the deal on the table and he has demanded for a real Madrid exit and he believes that although he has been contracted for another three years, he should be allowed to leave for a reasonable price.
Note that the Portuguese football star was thought to be eyeing a move from the club last summer after he was charged for tax evasion, but he stayed put at Real at the end of the day.
