Look Out for Taylor Swift on the January Issue of Vogue UK
“Taylor Remade” is the title of the story which comes with the cover image of Taylor Swift that graces the January Issue of Vogue UK. Anyone who has not been under a rock can easily trace a reference to the new Taylor that has emerged since the release of her Reputation album. A little darker and definitely more grown up.
Vogue UK under Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful revealed the controversial pop star as its January cover star last week Monday. This is Swift’s first high-profile fashion cover since the Reputation dropped in November. Enninful handed the “Look What You Made Me Do” singer the honour of gracing the cover of the second issue of the magazine since he took over.

The cover image was shot by Mert and Marcus and it features Taylor Swift is studded red dress by Anthony Vaccarello for Saint Laurent. The makeup reflects her recent black, gothic fashion choices with black lipstick and smoky eyes paired with hair done in finger waves reminiscent of Old Hollywood glamour.
All of it portrays a Taylor Swift who has come out stronger and fiercer in the midst of recent dramas. One of the most prominent is the spat with Kim Kardashian; the reality star gave a scathing account of the event and the singer in a GQ story last year June.
Taylor Swift’s Reputation album is the bestselling album of 2017, selling over 1.2 million copies. It is also her fifth No.1 album on the Billboard 200 albums chart.
