Ex-England star, Trevor Sinclair who now works as a BBC pundit has been arrested on the suspicion of drunk driving, common assault and also criminal damage after a woman was hurt in a collision.
The event happened on Sunday night and it should be noted that the ex-England winger who played for Manchester City, West Ham, and Queens Park Rangers among other clubs has been released while inquires continue.
It should also be noted that he won 12 caps for England while playing at the 2002 World Cup and between 2014 and 2015, he was the assistant manager at non-league Lancaster City and currently works as a Pundit for BBC.
According to a Lancashire Police spokeswoman, the Police got contacted at 8:45pm on Sunday to a report of a disturbance at a house on Victory Boulevard in Lytham and when the officers went to the property, they discovered he had already left in his car.
After a short while, they found that the vehicle had been involved in a collision with a female pedestrian on Clifton Drive who received minor injuries in the process.
He was then arrested.
His representatives have been contacted for a comment.
